    In the wake of Rite Aid reportedly dropping support for Apple Pay by closing its NFC-based payment systems comes word of another rumor that claims another major pharmacy chain in the US, CVS, could be doing the exact same thing.

    I’ve already shaken the dust off my feet. And moved my prescriptions to Walgreens. Clearly CVS has placed their profits over credit card security. Don’t need ’em and won’t miss ’em for a second.

    Yeah that and they want a system that makes it easier to track your purchases. ApplePay isn't going to be sharing info with the retailers.

    John Gruber has an explanations how the process will work with their CurrentC payment method. So much more complicated than ApplePay.
