Tapbots rolling out critical update for Tweetbot

If you're a user of the fabulous Tapbots Twitter app Tweetbot, you'll want to listen up. A critical update to the app is now filtering through the iTunes App Store and arriving on iOS devices.
It's critical due to the fact that if you don't update, any versions of Tweetbot prior to 2.8.8 or 3.2.2 will stop working and you may need to log into your account again.

The next critical update for Tweetbot needs to be Tweetbot 3 for iPad. I can't believe iOS 8 was announced yet still no sign of an iOS 7 version for Tweetbot's iPad app. I'm seriously starting to wonder whether the devs are even working on it, even though Tapbots' Twitter feed says, "Working on it!" Their feeds reek of arrogance and of blowing off their customers. People clearly are clamoring for TB3, but to not even provide a legitimate status update is a slap in the face to those who use the app. Is it the new iOS? Fine. Tell us that, for crying out loud. Devs make an issue when customers complain about paying for new versions of apps, but what about those customers who WANT to pay but receive no credible updates? Tapbots, if you're reading this (highly doubtful), you owe your customers more than a casual "Working on it!" Quit the condescending BS and treat your customers as your customers, not as your sheep.
