Much like the report of Apple cutting factory orders across the board (due to product “fails”) only for Foxconn today to come out and say no abnormal order changes have been seen.
I don’t believe 50% simply because China is a HUGE Apple supplier, Apple customer, and the workforce to power to transportation systems are all superior in China. Plus the way the game is played, build manufacturing here(investment money here) and we’ll get you sales here. It’s standard quid pro quo. India market for Apple is rising but utterly pales to China. So if Apple is planning on building 90 million iPhones in India (BIG investment in India), India will be expected to get Apple sales going much higher.
But I do believe India (and Vietnam) will see more Apple plants come into operation, just not 50%.
