I call BS, actually double BS. First, Apple already heavily differentiated the Pro model this year. It would not be Apple-esque (or most companies) to put every new feature in one year especially on a model with a number of new features. It’s called a roadmap and be sure companies use it. Second, some parts of the source information for this story are from Apple lawsuits against chip startups that some Apple employees started/joined. In a lawsuit, anything not recorded on video or at least first person emailed is automatically suspect.
Much more likely this is just media claptrap clickbait.
