Point of correction:12 years not 6, you are forgetting the nexus line that wasn’t profitable either.
Samsung is currently loosing the plot due to the iPhones success and their failures with the premium galaxy range of smartphones. Perhaps another restructuring is in order to hide the loss in revenue and profit from their DX (smartphone, tablet, wearable, pc, tv, consumer electronics, consumer appliances and networking business) division.
