iPhone 15 to feature breakthrough component made by Sony

This is gossip but it is interesting. Sunlight creates many/most difficult photos to take. IF Sony has developed something that handles sunlight (and shade it causes) notably better, that would be a big step. But if they just recently developed it, I have serious doubts it will be on the 15 Pro. New is unknown and pricier, requires a lot of new hardware testing, requires substantial new software testing. A new sensor possibly creates many required design changes inside.

But this is just as likely using the name Apple to get free media. Headline! Apple to buy (company name here), Apple to use (insert product here). Just insert Apple to use (insert words) then provide to favorite and, ahem, amenable media person for publication.
