Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip: single-core 1483 and multi-core 4709.
Bionic A16 - 14 Pro: single core 1739 Multi-Core4752
Bionic A15 - 13 Pro: single-core 1707 and multi-core 4659

Given about 15% better single core performance by A15 over Snapdragon, while Snapdragon is just outside the variation range on multi core test, the latest Snapdragons is below A15.
these latest Snapdragon Android phones will be coming not too long before A17. As of September of 2023, latest Snapdragon will be losing to A15, A16, A17.

One of the reasons android phones lose so much value after launch. Inferior hardware.

Yes, inferior SOC, lesser brandname than Apple, and substantially less software support. On that, Samsung with the sneaky "we set the standard [for Android] by giving 4 years of software support![3 years of OS, 1 year of 2 security patches]" Applying the same standard to Apple's iPhone is minimum of 6 year, and probably 7, with the Android standard "software! support".
