Report: New iOS 16 Focus mode changes will break compatibility with iOS 15

Apple's upcoming iOS 16 update will reportedly make such big changes to the way Focus mode works that it will break compatibility with devices running older versions of the system software.

If Apple isn’t going to overhaul iOS then at least add the following:

Provide a month view to the default calendar that I can swipe down to display when viewing my daily events.

Weekly view in portrait mode that I can swipe left to right.

Have the ability to change the theme of the Notes app from yellow to blue, for example.

No more emojis please…

Bring the precipitation map of the default weather app in-line with Dark Sky’s or the traditional radar maps.

Here's what I want for the iPhone/iOS.

A "pause" button for shooting video.

Ability to nest folders.

Bring back the "delete all" in message threads in Messages. It was removed in iOS 15.

Interactive widgets.

More default app options.

More card options for Wallet.
