I cringed when I saw this thread and was anxious that this would better deal than the one we got on Black Friday! Thanks to another thread here on iMore, we purchased the Apple Pencil 2 on Black Friday from Best Buy, also for $99.00. Upon further thought, I suppose I could have returned the one I got since it's still wrapped and under the tree!
