AirTags are being used to steal cars

According to a new report released by the York Regional Police, car thieves are using AirTags to mark, track, and steal vehicles.

Per the article, “Apple has been getting a lot of heat about the security and privacy issues that can occur with its new item tracker. While it is handy for keeping up with the location of your keys, wallet, backpack, and more, it can also be used for a nefarious purpose….”

What? There have been tracking devices long before the invent of AirTags and thieves have been using them. Now that Apple has started selling it tracking instruments, now it’s a big deal?

Sin exist and therefore there will always be people who take advantage of something meant for good and use it to do bad things.

I keep an AirTag hidden in my car so if there AirTag steals it my AirTag will steal it back
