Unless this feature activates accidentally/problems caused by unreliability of the alert, I can’t imagine the mindset of why you’d not want (turn off) this feature.

The only usefulness would be a new Teen driver using your car for the first couple of months

Having been in a horrific accident, where people who were in the other car died, I would be happy to have this feature.

Or an adult driver who swerves to miss a car or animal, hits a tree on the side of the road and is knocked unconscious and bleeding. Wouldn’t getting EMS to the scene as quickly as possible be important?

Some cars are equipped with this feature and some aren’t.
