New York State has an app that stores your vaccination card but this will be great for those who live in places that don’t already have it. Plus everything in one place.

It depends on where you received your vaccinations. It you got your vaccinations at a grocery store, your records might not be able to be added. If you got them from a medical center or clinic that is a Health app partner, maybe so.
