    Shame really, when the “s” denoted the highest spec of a particular iteration you knew to buy the second years product. Sort of gave you a target !
    So if this years was a 12s, I would know to buy the 2023 iPhone, which if Germany has it’s way should last me till 2030 !!

    from my knowledge since the iPhone X and Xs model. I guess they stopped after iPhone 11. since there is no 11s models and went to 12. and they didnt have iPhone 8s either but there is the new iPhone SE. I dont know exactly but just gotta make the phone names more simple and not add an "s" in there
