It’s this here so you can plug your lightning only headphones into things with a standard 3.5mm jack.

RUSM? $35 for a cable that should be included with the headphones. I would never pay that much for headphones and then have to buy a cable to use the AUX port in my car.

That wouldn't be very satisfying anyway. The Aux port on your car is an input. The cable is to plug into a headphone output, like the entertainment system on an airplane.
