That’s not true for me as I have a very very short memory regarding rumors and mock-ups.
Every time when I watch a keynote live, I get surprised by stuff they announce.

Qft, iPhone launch event hasn’t been this late since the iPhone 4S on oct 4 2011.

Here is hoping iPhone shipping isn’t as late as the the iPhone XR or even iPhone X, which launched in November.
