This reporter is the same type of person to put a cat in a laundromat and after that in a microwave and expect the cat to come out cleaned, dry and alive.

This is what Apple® states on its website in regard to the Blood Oxygen Sensor:

“Blood Oxygen app measurements are not intended for medical use, including self-diagnosis or consultation with a doctor, and are only designed for general fitness and wellness purposes.”

I f you are serious about your Blood Oxygen levels, and I mean medically concerned it would be better to buy a proper fingerpad and dedicated machine set up, In fact if your doctor has not suggested it I would not bother !
