    One of the more complicated mechanics in Xenoblade Chronicles is Affinity. Affinity represents your reputation with individuals and in various areas of the world and between your party members. The higher your Affinity, the more quests you'll be given, the more items people will have to trade, and the better your team will work together in battle.
