At this point, you're probably either working from home or not working at all. Assuming it's the former, telecommuting to this extent is probably a bit unfamiliar to you. Maybe you're finding it hard to focus, or difficult to get anything done. We can help with that. It all starts with your home office.

LOL, many people are out here working. Police, Fire, Sanitation, Grocery, Trucking, Health Care, Construction, etc... Your assumption is clueless.

Grocery store workers can stock shelves from home? When did that start happening?

Edit: I took a few minutes to look at the article. My above statement is upon reaction to the headline.

In the article, there are 3 computers listed, 2 being laptops, 1 an all in one. These are my counterpoints:

    1. I'm curious as to why suggesting to go with a laptop, as most places are still closed, and the feature of portability is limited due to lack of options.

    2. All in one PCs, while they look nice, are at least in my opinion a poor investment. If the display goes out, it isn't a simple fix. A better solution could be to invest in a mini PC, and buy 2 displays.

Sure building a PC is a bigger bang for your buck, but I get that some don't want to do that....

    Mini PC: https://www.apple.com/shop/buy-mac/m...sor-256gb#mn_p
Price: $800 (See what I did there?)

    Display: https://forums.imore.com/e?link=http...token=d2WTInQV
    Price: $105

    KB & M: https://forums.imore.com/e?link=http...token=VniqKQDy
    Price: $20

Total: $925. And you still saved money.

I’m working from home. I am using a laptop issued to me by my employer. I sit at the dining room table. The only money I’ve spent was on a flash drive and some folders. Now that I’m being furloughed, I am glad I didn’t spend more money!

Nothing wrong with not spending money. If everything is working as it should, there is no reason to spend any.

The biggest reason I framed my post the way I did (and I am not taking yours as a criticism of mine) is that perhaps someone does have the means/need to spend money on an office set up. I just wanted to open up options for equal, if not better ways to spend that cash. The option I provided not only achieves the same thing (some aspects, like the CPU are a wash) but I only spent about 50% of what was suggested.

For those who may be interested, here is another option, about the same price as the Apple PC, but an ASUS, and you can use 3 displays: https://forums.imore.com/e?link=http...token=nCJd--Ta
