iOS 13.5 will skip Face ID if your iPhone sees you are wearing a mask

Some users of the iOS 13.5 beta have noticed that, if you are wearing a mask, the iPhone will skip Face ID and prompt for a passcode.

Thank goodness. That 1 second delay was really slowing me down.

While not really a big deal it does make unlocking my phone that more convenient

It sounds like a good move to me. Since I am still using my iPhone 8+ with touch id, I've noticed that I need to enter a passcode while wearing gloves at the store. That's not a big deal at all!
