    This is kind of misleading. Most HomeKit devices are compatible with other home automation services like Alexia or Google, but not necessarily the other way around. Having HomeKit compatible devices doesn’t usually mean that you are locked into HomeKit only. It is nice to have the HomeKit compatibly, though.
