Unfortunately it might be too late. If Apple improves work and safety or moves production to the USA/Europe costs and prices will increase significantly. Now they can either offload that increase onto the consumer, who will be annoyed and be put off....or they can decrease their profits. And for most companies, profit comes before some moral values.

I don’t think profits are a problem for companies like Apple. They could choose a better environment to build their products and still reap in boatloads.
