Turns out 64GB in an iPhone probably is enough after all

64GBs of storage on the iPhone is sufficient for most iPhone users, in my opinion. I’m not referring to people like us who frequent tech blogs and forums. Techies desire more storage space for various reasons, but for the typical iPhone owner, I maintain that 64 GBs is sufficient.

I couldn’t agree more. My wife has a 64 GB iPhone XR that serves her needs just fine. I’m at about 85 GB used though. I could probably trim things down and squeeze into a 64 GB model but at $1,000+ for a phone I’m just not willing to sacrifice or even inconvenience myself.

That’s understandable, in my opinion...:)

I have 20 GB used on my 64GB XS Max. All my iPhones have 64 GB and never needed more. With Amazon photos I don’t even keep photos on my iPhone. I usually delete apps I don’t use for a minute either. But I’m no techie guru like most of you are. I “effed” up and bought my kids 256GB at a price. But kids keep more stuff on their phones I guess.

I have 12GB used on my 64GB XR. I don’t keep apps on my phone that I don’t use. No songs, videos or pictures.
