I'm not a fan of anything that shows kids being given gadgets just to keep them quiet. So, when I first started watching Apple's latest holiday ad, The Surprise, I was genuinely not fond of the direction it was going. But then, something flipped.

Oh, my word... I should have watched this at home. The video was just wrapping up when I realized I wasn't alone. So there I sat, tears streaming down my face, answer questions from a student about turning in an assignment! Even though this is a commercial, it's well worth a few seconds of your time!
