Slack DMs and starred channels missing for some users

If you've noticed your DMs and starred channels have gone missing from Slack today, you're not alone. Slack has acknowledged there's an issue causing both to go missing for some users and is working on a fix.

At my place of business, we use Slack for internal communications, but I didn’t notice any of the Slack channels and DMs missing yesterday.
