I question whether or not there’s actually a huge demand for a small phone. I think the clearance models sold out quickly because they were relatively cheap and there weren’t that many of them. Is that enough to make Apple change course and start making an iteration of the SE again? Only they know.

I don’t know whether there is a huge demand, but from reading iMore, The Verge, etc there is certainly some, I wish I had taken that route when I replaced my 4s,instead of buying the XS, which I don’t much like(too big). I will look for a smaller unit next time round.
