Can an iPad Pro (2018) replace your laptop, and does iOS 12 do enough to make the new hardware sing?

Yes to the initial question. The original 9.7” iPad Pro that I purchased was to replace my long outdated 2009 MacBook, and for the most part, it sufficed. Still, there are things that I simply need a laptop for and thus the reason I gave my iPad Pro to one of my kids and bought myself a 2017 MacBook Pro a while back.

As for iOS 12, it is a solid operating system, but it does not make a difference in my situation. I would continue take the MacBook Pro over the iPad Pro for now.
