Should you buy Surface Headphones or Beats Studio3?

I could not find a way to try these personally but had a very pleasant surprise with the Sony WH-H900N. Anything with the chip that makes my AirPods would be great but the quality of active noise cancellation and price are really important too. Not long ago it seemed like Bose ruled for noise cancelling. I'm not so sure anymore.

One thing I'd like to sort out are comments around the Internet that say Bose are best if you just want noise cancelling.
