Humm, I'm actually very surprised that the Apple Leather case was left off this list as well as the Apple Silicone case.

"Little" protection is right. I guess if one has AppleCare+, it doesn't matter. But, still, if I pay $1,000 or more for an iPhone, it's going to be in a "protection first" case. I just don't trust those skimpy cases. I used the OtterBox Commuter for 2 years on my 6s Plus, then switched to the Apple leather case. Didn't really notice that much difference in bulk.
