No, Keychain only saves passwords used in Safari. Also, apps like 1Password can store other things like DR number, SS number and other things. It also has other features Keychain doesn't have.

Lastpass has those too with extra security if you want. Very handy and way more secure than Notes app ;)

And to organize in folders. Love that feature!

Lastpass has folders / categories too but I just use the spotlight style search. Too many to organize the search is super quick.

I love 1Password. It's Touch ID compatible and integrates well with iOS. It syncs with iCloud, which apparently not even the FBI can get into.

Same with Lastpass but for less. Same encryption, too. Not sure I understand the extra costs for each license. I use Lastpass at work on a PC, home on a Mac, and on the go on iOS. All for the same $12. How much would that be for 1Password?
Then again I spent $200 on a doorbell (Ring) and you just bought one for $9 so different strokes I guess

Over the years, I've gone from mSecure to DataVault to 1Password. Although I've used DataVault the longest, I've been using 1Password for the past couple of years or so.

I wasn't recommending one over the other, just telling OP what I use.

I've used a few password manager apps. But I'm a big fan of 1Password. Been using it now for a couple of years.
