Samsung tries to get out ahead of iPhone 6s Plus with Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Plus... er... +

Samsung held one of their legendary Unpacked events today so they could showcase the bigger Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ and better Samsung Galaxy Note 5. So, what's new about the new devices, and what does it mean for Apple and the upcoming iPhones 6S?

Actually Samsung introduced new phones as usual with the Note series (that has been copied by many, many companies, Apple included) and even one upped Apple by introducing the product and selling it 7 days later.

Apple typically announces it, offers pre-orders within a few days and then about a week after that its available to get (if you were lucky to get a pre-order in). So give Samsung credit where it is due, they finally made the carriers release it faster than ever, days instead of months. I would like to see Samsung take back control, go bloat free, carrier crapware free and Touch Wiz free.

Regardless, I will have a iPhone 6S + and a Moto X Pure Edition in the coming weeks.
