Sounds in line or even cheaper than for the iPhone . My iPhone 6 Plus with cellular and 128GB was near $1,000 so $100 for the Apple Care + is 10%.
It all depends on how much you spent for the iPhone or Apple Watch.

Interesting. Considering the Edition will come with 55 grams of gold, that leaves approximately $8400ish left over in margin after mfging. So say $5000 margin after marketing, and service.
Seems $1,000 to cover approximately $1700-$1800 of hardware is not too bad for Apple.
(Considering they're paying top dollar for the gold, and spending about $200-$300 for the rest of the hardware).

I wonder what the deductible will be like. $799?

Edit: Whoops. Seems Apple may be using a 18k composite. Gold content may be as low as $600-$700. What the?
