A new report claims that actor Jeff Daniels is in the running to portray Apple's former CEO John Sculley in the upcoming Universal Pictures biopic of Steve Jobs. If that happens, Daniels will be working again with Aaron Sorkin, who is writing the script for the movie based on Walter Isaacson's acclaimed biography of Jobs. Daniels plays the lead character in The Newsroom, the HBO TV series that Sorkin created and which will end after three seasons later in December.
