
Foxconn, the manufacturer of Apple's devices, including the
iPhone and
iPad, is about to invest $2.6 billion in a facility in Taiwan dedicated to producing displays for a single client. While the client isn't explicitly named, few companies other than Apple could generate the demand that would require a dedicated display production facility. The plant is expected to begin producing displays by the end of next year, according to
