A new report claims Apple could stop selling the wearable fitness devices from Fitbit in its retail stores in the very near future. This comes a few days after Fitbit said it had no current plans to support Apple's HealthKit platform in iOS 8.

Seeing how poplar the Fitbit devices are, one can only wonder if this announcement is because of FitBit's comments about not allowing Health Kit access.

Apple has plenty of items for sale in there stores that compete directly with an Apple product.

True, but they will continue to sell to those who use them with out a iPhone....

Apple has removed other popular hardware from their stores before.
