46% of Apple mobile devices now running iOS 8

Apple recently released iOS 8 and now the company has shared some details on just how the update is performing with regards to platform penetration. According to data from Apple, 46 percent of consumers have updated to iOS 8.

Yeah, I have been under whelmed by IOS8. As per usual, an Apple release of a full number update has fallen short. Sure there are some nice little features. But there are also many, like the recents and favorites upon double tapping the home button, that do not work properly. Then there are features that could have been useful, like "Hey Siri" that are made useless by Apple's limiting their use to when the phone is plugged in. The audio message feature is cool in concept, but again I have not been able to make it wofk after several hours of trying.
