Incoming Apple SVP of Retail and current Burberry CEO Angela Ahrendts will soon be made an honorary Dame of the British Empire. The ceremony is expected to be low-key, and will be presided over by British Secretary of State for Business, Innovation, and Skills. Ahrendts will not be allowed to use the title Dame, though she will be able use DBE after her name, due to the fact that she is not a British citizen.
