When using iMessage, there is an option to have messages forward from your iPhone, to other iOS devices.

I think you can only forward SMS texts to another iOS device if you have iMessage turned on.

Why do you not want to use iMessage?
Or block people from sending iMessages but not texts??

With iMessage off, you can forward to any email address or number of another iOS device as long as the email address or number is not checked in send and receive. Problem is, on iPhone, the number is automatically checked. Therefore, iMessage would need to be on.
