My sister tells me it is free but I can't find any reference to 'outside the UK' on the Help system

My good lady is based in the UK and I am based in the USA for work and we text and Facetime twice a day minimum and have done for the last year. It has cost us absolutely nothing to do so via iMessage and Facetime.

I'm in Italy and my other half in Australia, we facetime daily and send countless imessages for free. The only thing that's not is the data you need for internet connection...unless there's a free wifi nearby
