I recently launched a website and in the Contact Us section I have a lot of ways for people to contact me. There are buttons for Skype, Google Talk, MSN, Yahoo, and AIM for example. To complete the contact information I'd like to have a button for people to contact me via iMessage. I know I can simply put something such as "Contact me via iMessage" and then put my ID behind it but I'd like something as simple as a button where they can click on it and then it'll bring up their Messages app on their iOS device or on their Mac so that they can start typing a message to me.

Is there any type of button such as this available?

I highly doubt it. iMessage is a different beast than the other services you mentioned.

If there is one, I've never seen it.

    Good Luck

I'm sure there has to be some type of JavaScript that does this somewhere. I know for sure you can add code to click and call. But not to click and text that I know of. I'll try to look into it

I did not check this myself to see if it works. But it should. Just some simple HTML.
