iMessage down?

Yes. I am having problems with iMessage but it only started about 45 minutes ago. It was working fine before that.

Must be down as it's all over facebook with issues as well. It's not working for me either. It takes a while to send and when it does it sends as a txt msg. iOS better improve a lot now that Forstall is gone.

Sounds like RIM isn't the ONLY company that has server problems once in a while. Turns out, they ALL do. Some just take more heat for it than others.

So, iMessage is back up. It just isn't using my phone number. Says "waiting for activation."

If it has cleared up for you, try rebooting your phone and then try again.

Login to Manage Your Apple ID and make sure your information is displayed as being verified.
