Is this normal? If, for whatever reason, I have to shut my iPhone 4S off, when I power it back, it always asks for my iMessage Password. Is there a setting I am missing to prevent this from happening whenever I turn my phone off and on?

it should be controlled by your main apple id login.. maybe try removing it and adding it back
