iMessage in Verizon Extended Network.

Does anyone know how iMessage works when you are outside of Verizon's coverage and are running on extended network? Also with no wifi access.

If you have no data it reverts to sms.

At school I am running on an extended network (Appalachian Wireless) and my phone successfully sends my iMessages. It says delivered on my phone, however my girlfriend's phone does not receive the message. Whenever we message each other it pops up as an iMessage everytime on our respective phones but the messages just seem to not go through.

YEa its true what Alli said, it just sends as a reg SMS, its happen to me a few times i have Verzion 2
