I want to run Adobe Premiere Pro and don't want to spend more than $1,200 on a used imac. I need advice on what specs to look for and maybe what year would be too old. Thanks!!

If there is a Best Buy store near you, you can get a NEW iMac that should be more than sufficient for your needs for or around the price you're seeking to spend.

Just don’t buy the base model 21.5”. Go at least for the $1300 one.

You can also look on Craigslist and Facebook marketplace and I have seen some nice used iMacs in the 1200-1500 dollar range and these are newer 27” models with DD4 Ram versus the older DDR3 models.

Also, don’t forget about the Apple refurbished store. These are certified and you also can get AppleCare on them too.
