I have an iMac running Sierra 10.12.6. It is a wired connection and using DHCP. It is a Windows 2003 server. I have Admin rights to the domain. I am not able to login to the domain. There is no RED dot either.

Originally, I was not successful in binding this Mac computer to the server. I kept getting "10001 error" message. I tried shortening the name and other related stuff. After I added the computer to AD then I was able to bind the computer to the domain.

However, I am still not able to login to the domain. I could try to delete the computer from AD and see if that works.

    FYI:

    https://support.apple.com/kb/PH26282...ewlocale=en_US

You should not be telling the world you’re using the unsupported version 2003. If you read that you’ll see you need a newer version of server OS. 2008 had that comparability but we’re close enough to its end of support that I would suggest version 2016.
