    Just got a new iMac and looking to buy a UPS, external backup (1-2TB), DVD/CD drive, and hub. Suggestions on what to buy on any, or all, greatly appreciated.

    Not up on brands, BUT good vendors would be Amazon (of course), Newegg, CDW, and The MacMall.

    From my personal experiences, both personal and professional, I recommend:
    APC for UPS
    Seagate for external backup
    Currently using a Buffalo external cd/dvd/burner

    All purchased from Amazon.
