Web Coding on iOS (and maybe Mac)

A while back (half a decade ago) you guys did an article on the features of three different code editors with syntax highlighting:

I was wondering what a good app would be today?

- Naturally, syntax highlighting for HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are a must (PHP/SQL a plus)
- I don't want to sign up for another sync service, preferring iCloud, so Coda is out (also, the Mac version is not for a dabbler like me.)
- With no dark mode in iOS (yet *crossesfingers*), a built-in dark mode would be really nice.

For writing, I use iA Writer and I love it. I know it can handle WordPress and Medium, and IFTTT could be used to add Blogger to the mix. Call me old fashioned, but good old FTP support would be nice once I had some webspace.

(For Mac, I use Brackets, which is pretty nifty.)

It did at one point, when Coda for Mac was still in the Mac App Store, but now I believe it uses a different sync method.

(I don't use it to sync, just to open and edit files on the server.)

That's a helpful point. Once I have some space, the devices can connect to the server.

I guess my problem would be that I want to work on CSS for iA Writer templates. From what I read in the "Library" (help section), there is no support for External Document Providers. I do see Coda has URL Schemes. A little Workflow script-foo might help: https://library.panic.com/coda-ios/url-schema/. That's about the best I think I'm going to be able to do.
