    Yes... but not dropbox... has to be physical devices in or attached to your mac.

    If you have a Dropbox folder on your Mac then time machine will back up what is in that folder. If you use the selective sync feature of Dropbox where some of he files are not on your hard drive but are in the cloud, then those will not be backed up.
