I'm looking for something with reliable performance, good graphics, reasonable memory...

I was looking at standard laptops, but as I am looking to use Photoshop, InDesign and other programmes as well as word document and browsing the web..... I am being advised to stretch my small budget and look at macs!

Would you advise me to look at macs and what should I look at, as there are a few models?!

The mac book pro has slow wifi performance and graphics I think? But that is only what I have heard or read.

The MBP does not have slow wifi or graphics. If you are looking for a high performance gaming rig, then yes you may be disappointed in graphics performance but otherwise it's fine.
