Please let me expand a bit on the situation, i'm actually disabled and travelling to the nearest store is not really practical but thanks all the same.
Regarding the problem itself. this hasn't recently occurred since installing ios11, i've been enduring it for over 16 months and have had numerous cases opened and closed by Apple Technical help who have been unable to reach a resolution.
I've even been told "its because you are using a windows device to upload them", when in fact the situation is nothing to do with the windows device.
The photos are on the cloud in the same order as they were taken. The problem is that when you move the pictures into an album they are not loaded in the same order and you cannot move/edit the order in the album, so in my case when i want to view the photos in the same order as they were taken, you cannot!
This is really infuriating as i have various albums containing pictures which you need to view in the original order they were taken (house restoration, wedding pictures, holiday trip etc ).
Any additional help will be greatly accepted as the current situation with Apple help is "its accepted behaviour and you need to accept the situation"
