Can't access my iCloud account

My apple ID/email address is an email address I don't use anymore, and I can't even get into it. So I can't use it to reset my password. I've forgotten the answers to my security questions ... or at any rate I know what the possibilities are, I think, but I can't come up with the right combination of possibilities before getting locked out. What to do?
